On the 10th of January officers from Patrol Services arrested a 37-year old male and charged him with one count of assault with a weapon and one count of mischief. It is alleged that during an argument the accused threw a phone at his wife. The phone did not strike the victim, however it was damaged. The accused will appear in court on February 11th.
Breach of Release
A 24-year old male was arrested on the 10th of January and charge with one count of breach of a release document in relation to a prior domestic incident. It is alleged that the accused attended at local business where his ex-girlfriend was. At the time of the offence the accused was on conditions not to be within 100 meters of the victim. The accused will appear in bail court on January 12th.
Shoplifting
On the 9th of January officers from Patrol Services arrested 43-year old Michael Ansley of 208-345 St. Georges Avenue East. It is alleged that the accused attended at Romes and attempted to leave the Wine Rack with two bottles of wine. The accused was apprehended by store security and during the arrest the accused attempted to strike the security officer. The accused has been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of resist arrest. He will appear in court on February 9th.
