CNN reports that at least 12 people have been killed in a terrorist attack in Paris France. 12 People have been reportedly shot and killed according to news organizations out of Paris.

Canadian leaders condemn Paris attack

OTTAWA – Canada’s political leaders are taking to Twitter to condemn a deadly attack on a Paris newspaper.

Reports say masked gunmen stormed the office of a satirical newspaper Wednesday and killed a dozen people before escaping.

A tweet from Prime Minister Stephen Harper’s account says he is horrified by what he calls barbaric attacks in France.

NDP Leader Tom Mulcair tweeted that he is shocked and disgusted by the mass shooting, calling the act senseless violence.

And in his tweet, Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau condemned the attacks, offering condolences and support to the people of France, the victims and their families.

French President Francois Hollande called the attack on the Charlie Hebdo weekly, whose caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad have frequently drawn condemnation from Muslims, “a terrorist attack without a doubt.”
