Imagine the ultimate day of snowmobiling. It all begins with free breakfast at Grand Gardens North, then you and your friends and family whip up to Buttermilk and enjoy an open bonfire. Everyone stops again at Searchmont Ski Resort for a free lunch, then start to circle back home. In total, you ride a beautiful 160 km of trails, and even receive $25 worth of free gas and a free day trail pass!

Come out and ride beautifully groomed trails in the Algoma wilderness on Saturday, February 7. With a minimum of $150 in donations, participants will receive a complimentary breakfast, complimentary lunch, $25 gas voucher AND a day trail pass (if you don’t have a season’s pass).
Snowarama is a full day, family-friendly event for all ages. Children 12 and under can eat for free and ride with their parents for only an additional fundraised amount of $20 per child (in addition to the $150 amount).
All this, on top of fundraising incentives and a local business prize draw! When you fundraise $150, you receive a ballot to win great prizes from Construction Equipment Co., Dynatype Motorsports, Joe’s Sports and Surplus, H.R. Lash, North Shore Sports & Auto, Rivercity Motorsports and Premier Powersports Yamaha. All prizes are valued over $200.
The George Willis Trophy, named in honour of the St. Joseph Island resident who consistently brought in the most donations to Snowarama for many years, will go to the rider who turns in the most money on the day of the event. Last year’s winner was Danielle Greve who raised $3,500.
Registration will be from 7 am-10 p.m. on February 7 at the Grand Gardens North on Great Northern Road.

Donations to Snowarama help Easter Seals provide financial assistance to children with physical disabilities for essential mobility equipment such as walkers, wheelchairs and communication devices as well as fully accessible summer camp opportunities.
