On February 11, 2015 police arrested a 13 year old boy after responding to an east end home where the boy was out of control. It is alleged that the boy broke a TV stand, thermostat and door. The 13 year old also threatened to kill two persons in the home. The boy has been charged with mischief and two counts of threatening and will appear in youth court on March 10th.
Domestic Assault
On February 12, 2015 police investigated a domestic assault complaint. Officers learned that a male had been assaulted by a 51 year old female. The assault consisted of the accused repeatedly kicking and punching the victim while he slept. The victim did attend the Sault Area Hospital for medical treatment for non-life threatening injuries. The accused has been charged with one count of assault and will appear in bail court on February 12th.
