The 52nd Annual Bon Soo Winter Carnival kicked off last evening at the Mill Market on Canal Drive with the traditional opening ceremony. Despite some pretty chilly temperatures, Mr. Bon Soo took the stage with our new Mayor Christian Provenano, MP Bryan Hayes, MPP David Orazietti and Bon Soo President Brett Lund. A massive nod of appreciation to Tim Hortons who were on hand with plenty of delicious hot chocolate to keep everyone in great spirits!
Not long after, kid’s laughter could be heard throughout the area as the bum slides at the Tim Hortons Winter Playground were put to the test and some snowboarders took to the hill and rails demonstrating their hard earned talent.
