Lake Superior State University biology professors Greg Zimmerman (left) and Tom Allan invite the public to join them at Moloney’s Alley in downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., for the inaugural Beer with a Scientist evening, 6–8 p.m., Feb. 18. Both profs will entertain questions, comments, observations, and/or inquiries on any scientific top topic. Zimmerman’s specialty is biofuels, while Allan’s passion lies with those relics from the age of dinosaurs, the birds. Imbibing in beer and pub food is optional; appetite for knowledge is mandatory.
