Superior Heights defeated Espanola by a score of 7-2. It was a game that saw Superior Heights take two and steal a couple to be up 4 at the fourth end break, Espanola came back with 2 in the fifth but Superior Heights responded with three more in the sixth and Espanola conceded the game early. In the second draw at noon, Superior Heights will play the defending NOSSA champion from Lockerby in a rematch of last year’s championship game.
White Pines defeated Elisabeth Bruyere Secondary School of North Bay by a score of 7-6. It was a back and forth game that would end tied after eight ends of play. In the extra end, White Pines made a draw against two for the win. White Pines will play St. Charles from Sudbury at noon.
