Passed away peacefully on December 26, 2014 in Ikaalinen, Finland at the age of 89.
Beloved husband of Aino Eliise (nee Myylyymaki) of Jurva Finland and the late Aino Eliina (nee Rajala). Loving father of Reima (Karen) and grandfather of Dylan of Brockville. Dear brother of Toimi Riippi. Kauko will be missed by Lisa Riippi of Brockville as well as many relatives in Sault Ste. Marie and Finland.
A funeral service was held in Ikaalinen Finland on January 30, 2015 and a graveside service will be held in Sault Ste. Marie at a later date.
