On February 26, 2015 members of the Sault Ste. Marie Joint Forces Drug Enforcement Unit along with the Crime Suppression Unit and K-9 Unit executed a CDSA search warrant on a residence located on First Avenue in Sault Ste. Marie.
Officers conducted a search of the home and found fentanyl, dilaudid, hydromorphine, and crack cocaine. The total street value of drugs seized is $1,127.00. As a result of the search the two residents have been arrested and charged.
32 year old James Hache has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of simple possession of a controlled substance while 33 year old Kathleen Currie has been charged with one count of simple possession of a controlled substance. Both accused will appear in court on March 30th.
