November 12, 1934 – February 8, 2015 – It is with heavy hearts and much sadness we announce the passing of Mary Venn at her residence in Wasaga Beach with family and friends at her side.
Left to forever cherish Mary’s memory are her sisters Sylvia Lundie, Audrey (Ken) Honstein, her brother Andy (Pat) Nevistuik and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Venn, parents Sedor and Elizabeth, brothers Steve, John, Jim, George, and sisters Lena Gaber and Valerie Bulezuik.
The family is at peace knowing that Mary is resting in the arms of the Lord.
We would like to express a special thanks to the doctors, staff and volunteers at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie, as well as the compassionate nurses, health care aids and staff at St. Elizabeth Centre, making Mary’s final days as peaceful and comfortable as possible.
Friends will be received at the Arthur Funeral Home & Cremation Centre on Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 2 p.m., until the time of service at 3 p.m. Mrs. Helen Smith officiating.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
