With a little help from some local dignitaries, the Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie started serving up some hot pancakes and sausages at the Conservation Authority’s Sugar Shack this morning to kick off this year’s annual charity fundraiser. Mayor Christian Provenzano, MP Bryan Hayes and Sault Ste. Marie Police Chief Robert Keetch were on hand to help keep a steady flow of supporters well fed as even more lined up at the entrance to the Sugar Shack to get a taste of the sweet tradition. Proceeds support Kiwanis Children’s Charities.
