On the 10th of March 2015 officers from Patrol Services responded to a 911 call of a possible stabbing at a residence in the 200 block of Wellington Street East.
Upon their arrival officers and EMS workers located an adult male suffering from stab wounds. The male victim was transported to the Sault Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers on scene arrested and charged 30-year old Ryan Douglas ELLIOTT of 1004 Wellington Street East and charged him with one count of aggravated assault.
The accused will appear in bail court this morning.
Officers from Investigation Services are continuing to work on this matter.

City Police officers attended to a residence in the 200 block of Wellington St. E early this morning regarding an assault complaint.
Further investigation revealed that a male had been stabbed by another male and the victim was transported to the Sault Area Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
A male has been arrested and is in Police custody, however, the investigation is continuing at this time.
