After losing 7-0 to the host team Toronto Young Nats one night ago, the Soo Thunderbirds midgets were right back in action this afternoon at Westwood Arena to take on the Don Mills Flyers.
The T-Birds tied the Flyers 4-4 to improve their record to a loss and a tie at the OHF tournament.
Oshawa Generals prospect Zach Senecal scored twice including a helper while Brendan Gillis also had a three point afternoon with a goal and two assists. Noah Serre scored once while single assists went to Brad Thrower, Cameron Elsby and Jonathan Dyer.
Nikolas Tsatsos scored a pair including one powerplay goal while Kyle Thomas also had a multi point game with two goals. James Ranson had a pair of helpers while Devon Oates also got on the scoresheet with one assist.
Joey Roberts was in goal for the Soo’s tie.
Next action for the T-Birds is tomorrow at 10:30am when they take on the Ottawa Senators from Westwood Arena.
