On the weekend the Elliot Lake Minor Hockey, part of the CAHL, had their PeeWee Round Robin playoffs.
On Saturday, the first game had 1st Place Thessalon defeat 4th Place Elliot Lake and Thessalon got 2 points for the win.
In the second game 2nd place North Channel Lightning defeated 3rd place Blind River which gave North Channel 2 points for the win.
After a break Thessalong went on to win their second game, getting 2 points when they defeated Blind River and In the final game of the day North Channel Lightning defeated Blind River.
At the end of the first day of round robin playoffs both Thessalon and North Channel were undefeated.
Sunday had Thessalon defeat North Channel Lightning which set the stage for the final as Thessalon had 6 points and North Channel had 4 so these two teams would meet in the final.
The last of the round robin games seen Elliot Lake defeat Blind River in a very close game.
In the final Thessalon took down North Channel to win the Championship.
