OPP advise that Highway 17 north from Batchawana to Wawa has been closed in both directions due to weather conditions.  There are no detours and the length of the closure is not known or estimated.

A cold front pushing through the Algoma District Sunday brings with it up to 10 cm of new snow and possibly mixed precipitation  along with strong winds with gusts to 60 km/h.
