On April 16, 2015 at 9pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Drug Enforcement Unit along with plain clothes patrol officers observed a male and female in a vehicle on Borron Street acting suspicious. Upon further investigation it was discovered that the two persons were in possession and using fentanyl. Both person were arrested and when searched the female was also found to be in possession of 8 grams of marihuana.
55 year old Murray Dick of Salisbury Avenue has been charged with possession of a controlled substance and will appear in court on May 25.
29 year old Melanie Agawa of Willow Avenue has been charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled drug and will also appear in court on May 25.
