Armed Robbery at Mac’s


On Saturday April 04 ’15 at about 5:05 A.M. city police were called to the Mac’s Mart on Boundary rd. at Trunk for an armed robbery.

A lone male entered the store with a bat and demanded money from the Clerk. The clerk complied with the demand and the male fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The clerk was not physically harmed in this incident. The male suspect is described as white, mid 20s to mid-30s, 5’10’’ to 6’, reddish blond stubble on face, wearing blue jeans, a black jacket with white writing on chest with his hood up, black ball cap with white writing on brim and white framed sun glasses with reddish tint. The weapon in question was light blue 3’ bat. Officers with the assistance of the K9 handler checked the area with negative results.
