Chicago Cookshop opened it’s doors last November to great reviews. The upscale steakhouse operated by Aaron Gridzak and John Perri featured “amazing tenderloin steak” as well as salads, ribs, homemade pasta , chicken and fish. The restaurant’s theme is all Chicago including the decor playing on the history of that city.
Today, the parking lot is empty and the doors are closed – there’s no apparent sign posted on the building, though SaultOnline.com has learned that the eatery is closed as of now. SaultOnline.com can not confirm if this is a temporary closing or if it has been closed indefinitely. The restaurant recently added a lunch menu. Chicago Cookshop employed about 40 fulltime and partime staff.
