Police Theft

On April 27, 2015 City Police responded to domestic incident in the west end of the city.  Investigation revealed that a male suspect age 33 was in a verbal argument with the victim. The argument escalated and the victim was assaulted.  Police arrested the accused male and charged him with assault.  The accused will appear in bail court on April 28, 2015 at 10:00 am.

On April 27, 2015 City Police responded to a theft call at Metro grocery store at 150 Churchill Blvd.  Investigation revealed that a male and female allegedly left the store with several grocery items and made no attempt to pay for the goods.   The two suspects fled the area in a vehicle.  A license plate number  was obtained and police attended at the residence of the registered owner.  Information received at that time led police to arrest  Joseph Terry Rideout age 34, of 797 Pine Street, Apartment B for theft under $5000. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on June 1, 2015 at 9:00 am.
