Drug Bust on Cedar Street

On March 31, 2015 at 4:15 p.m., the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service Drug Enforcement Unit, Crime Suppression Unit, Emergency Services Unit and Canine Unit executed a CDSA search warrant at a residence on Cedar Street. During the search of the residence, officers located 44.1 grams of cocaine, 11.6 grams of MDMA, 21 oxycodone pills, 4 morphine pills, 1 Oxyneo pill and 2 grams of hashish.

The street value of the drugs is approximately $5700.00. Two persons were arrested and charged with six counts of Possession for the Purpose of trafficking, CDSA 5(2). Justice Levar, 19 years of Cedar Street and Morgan Robinson, 19 years of Birch Street will both be appearing in Court on May 4, 2015.

On March 31, 2015 at 10:30 p.m., a 20 year old male was arrested and charged with Breach of Recognizance. Officers conducted a vehicle stop and found the male breaching his court imposed curfew of 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. The recognizance relates back to earlier domestic violence charges. He will be appearing in Bail Court on April 1, 2015.
