Wawa-News.com reports that a transport left the highway early Thursday morning resulting in extensive damage but no injuries.
A southbound transport left the highway, travelled along the shoulder, finally coming to rest wedged between the shoulder, embankment and rock cut.
About 16 kilometres north of Wawa, alongside Catfish Lake, the transport came to rest, the cab on it’s side, and the trailer twisted. The back axles of the trailer were flat. There was gravel sprayed the length of the trailer on the southbound lane.
