A special thank you to Dr. Fera and his staff for years of care, and to Brenda Paat, NP at the Finnish Resthome.

Our deepest gratitude to Zia Grazia for being there with us quietly sitting day in, day out with tender words, and heartfelt hugs as we watched our mom during this difficult time.

To the staff of the Ontario Finnish Resthome – there are no words to express our deepest appreciation for your loving care, support and compassion. You gave our mom a second home where she was truly loved and cared for as her dementia took her further and further away from us and softened the pain as we watched her suffer from life with us to a life ever after with her God. The extraordinary care, dignity, courtesy, compassion and tenderness shown not only by the front line nursing staff, but the entire staff from management, maintenance, housekeeping and kitchen was truly remarkable and beyond one’s expectations. We will be eternally grateful.
