On April 14, 2015 at 8:20am Sault Ste. Marie Police officers attended on Cathcart Street in regards to a domestic disturbance. Through investigation it was revealed that accused, a 25 year old female assaulted her common law boyfriend with a weapon by throwing a butter knife at him, striking him in the back.
The accused then proceeded to smash the windshield of his vehicle with a snow shovel. The accused smashed three windows at the front of the residence as well.
The accused was also on probation at the time of the incident with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behavior. The accused has been charged with assault with a weapon, two counts of mischief and breach of probation.
The accused will appear in bail court on April 15.
