Everyone had fun at the Pie in the Eye Event held at St Basil High School on Monday afternoon. Fifteen teachers volunteered to be the recipients of cream filled pies all over them and the students gladly volunteered to do the smearing.
Yes it was fun, but it was for a good cause. They raised much needed funds, not only for the cancer society, but for a much beloved grade 12 student who is in Toronto recuperating from a bone marrow transplant. This video will definitely put a smile on her face.
St. Basil students, once again, came through for one of their own.
