On April 13, 2015 Sault Ste. Marie Police officers arrested 24 year old Jody Edwards of Second Line West and 20 year old Ryan McLeish of Albert Street East. It is alleged that on March 19, 2015 at 3:15pm Jody Edwards attended a downtown store and took a cordless drill valued at approximately $100.00 and left without making any attempt to pay.

On April 9, 2015 at 6:50pm Edwards and Ryan McLeish again attended the same store and took two adult mountain bikes valued at $400.00 and left without making any attempt to pay.

Again on April 9, 2015 at 8:22pm Edwards and McLeish attended the same store and took a bed in a bag valued at $150.00 and left without making any attempt to pay.

At the time of these offences both accused were on probation orders with numerous conditions including keeping the peace and be of good behaviour as well as staying away from local stores, which they breached.

Ryan McLeish has been charged with 2 counts of theft under $5,000 and 2 counts of breach of probation. McLeish will appear in court on May 11.

Jody Edwards has been charged with 3 counts of theft under $5,000 and 15 counts of breach of probation. Edwards will appear in bail court on April 13
