No you’re not losing it. The Tim Hortons on Trunk Road did close up today at 10am, but the good news is that it was only temporary. Orange construction barricades were erected at both the entrance and exit driveways to allow crews to strip the restaurant and move necessary equipment and supplies into a mobile trailer.
SaultOnline spoke with Site Superintendent Mark Brown of Dalren Limited who stated that in just one short month contractors will completely gut and renovate the restaurant to the new Tim Hortons concept, similar to the recent reconstruction of the Blind River location. “On May 28th I hand the keys back over”, said Mark.
In the meantime, a mobile restaurant has been located just outside the main doors enabling the same friendly team to continue serving you.
