She had busy hands that brought love to all with her gorgeous gardens, Christmas light displays, hand crafted items, baby blankets and works of art from the kitchen.
Eileen is survived by her daughter Nicole (Chris) Walker, son Matthew (Mary) Corbett and stepdaughter Cyndy (Les) Dunbar. Eileen also leaves behind her father Stan Gronskis, siblings Frank Gronskis and Dorothy (Lorenzo) Fabbri, many other beloved relatives, friends and two bursts of joy to her, her grandchildren Mya and Maggie Corbett. Eileen was blessed to have had two loves in life who both predeceased her. Her first love Gerald Corbett and then Harvey Stanley. There are also many beloved family and friends whom she is now with.
A private family service has taken place followed by cremation. A graveside interment will be taking place on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 3:00pm followed by a celebration of life at The Croatian Hall (446 Second Line) from 7pm-9pm with light refreshments to be served. Those wanting to join the family for graveside interment can meet at the cemetery chapel at 3pm.
