Release your very own monarch butterfly!
“The butterfly counts not months but moments, and has time enough”. Rabindranath Tagore’s words remind us of the importance of appreciating every moment. As our lives get busier, we often forget to pause to enjoy the little moments that fill us with the most joy. ARCH Hospice wants to help change that!
ARCH invites you to join us on Thursday, July 16 for our first ever Butterfly Release Day! The monarch butterfly is said to be one of the most beautiful and easily recognizable species of butterflies. Sadly, the monarch population needs our help. Butterfly Release Day is a unique way for our community to support ARCH Hospice and the Monarch population. You can sponsor one butterfly for $30 or four butterflies for $100.
Make this event a special moment that you’ll remember for years to come. You can release your butterfly in honour of a loved one, to celebrate a momentous occasion, or simply to help give back to nature. Whatever the reason, we’d love for you to join us on July 16 and whisper your wishes to your butterfly before releasing it! All proceeds benefit ARCH.
The event will kick off at Bellevue Park Bandstand, with a brief opening ceremonies at 6:15pm. The butterfly release will begin at 7pm. You can release your butterfly in honour of a loved one, to celebrate a special occasion, or simply to help give back to nature. Whatever the reason, we’d love for you to join us!
