On June 22, 2015 City Police responded to numerous calls regarding a bear in the vicinity of Adrian drive and Autumn drive. The bear eventually climb a tree and the M.N.R. was contacted and attended in attempts to tranquilize the animal. It was determined that the bear was too high in the tree to be safely tranquilized. The ministry remains on scene.
