BRONSON, Allan Emerson


Allan BronsonPeacefully into the presence of his Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the F.J. Davey Home at the age of 91.

He was born in Mayo Township, ON. He was the son of the late James Joseph Bronson and the late Isabella Catherine Stringer. He was the beloved husband of Gwen for 65 years. Allan was a devoted father and grandfather of David (Gloria), Kathy, Jayson and Adam. Dear brother of Mildred Caverly (Floyd), Thelma Peck (late Bob), Edith Langdon (late James) and Effie Martin (late Dave). Predeceased by his sister Ramona Hawley (late Russell) and his brothers Billy and Jimmy. Brother-in-law of Irvine Cockwell (Shirley). He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Special friend of Bill Weir.

Allan was a good servant and loved his Lord greatly. He was a faithful attendant of the Bancroft Bible Chapel and Faith Baptist Church in Echo Bay. Among his many interests, Allan was an avid outdoorsman who loved his fishing trips to Algonquin Park and Temagami Lake. He hunted with the Birch Lake Hunt Camp gang for years. His other interests included curling and genealogy.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Faith Baptist Church in Echo Bay on Saturday, June 27, 2015 at 1 pm. T.J. Telfer and Bill McLean officiating. Interment Boulter Gospel Hall Cemetery later this summer.

Memorial contributions to the Gideon’s Society or the Faith Baptist Church Building Fund would be appreciated.
