Tidal Records and the City of Sault Ste. Marie teamed up to hold the event that took place from noon to 5pm Sunday at the skateboard park at John Rhodes Community Centre.
Several musicians, including Garden of Bedlam, The Pixo Control and Conika, performed while a six member squad made up of members, Drew Cameron, brothers Dalton and Colton Hermiston, Jim Huckson, Justin Lepage, Christian Lemay showed off their best moves in a series of demonstrations with many others who attended.
“I like the idea of skateboarding and surfing,” said Dustin Jones, team manager and co-owner of Tidal Records. His venture launched in 2013. “Our main goal here is to show all the artistic talent that is coming out of Northern Ontario – be it music, skateboarding, art in general. Creative people with creative minds, all working together.”
