Hounds release 2015-16 Regular Season schedule

In conjunction with the Ontario Hockey League, the Soo Greyhounds released their 2015-16 regular season schedule this morning.

The reigning West Division Champions will open their 44th season on Friday, September 25th versus division rival, the Windsor Spitfires (7:07 p.m.).

One day later (Sat. Sept 26) the Niagara IceDogs make their lone regular season visit to the Lock City @ 7:07 p.m.

The Hounds head out on the road for the first time of the season in early October to southern Ontario for a trio of games against Guelph (Fri. Oct 2), Owen Sound (Sat. Oct. 3) and the newly located Hamilton Bulldogs (Sun. Oct. 4).

Some schedule notes:
* The home portion of the Hounds schedule will include 1 Monday, 7 Wednesday, 12 Friday, 6 Saturday and 8 Sunday afternoon contests.
* Game start times remain unchanged from last season with Monday-Saturday games set for 7:07 p.m. starts, with Sunday’s seeing the puck drop at 2:07 p.m.
* The defending OHL Champion Oshawa Generals will skate into the Essar Centre on for their only visit on Saturday, December 5, 2015 (7:07 p.m.)
* Regular season concludes on Sunday, March 20, 2016 versus Guelph Storm
* A number of theme nights will be arranged including Annual Teddy Bear Toss (Tues. December 2) and Hockey Fights Cancer (Saturday, October 24) – both tentative dates

General Admission ticket sales will commence on Monday, August 31st, 10 a.m. at the Essar Centre Box Office.
Meanwhile those interested in purchasing 2015-16 Season Tickets can stop by the Box Office during regular business hours of 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday to Friday.
