Male Charged with Stunt Driving

On the 18th of June around 11:30 pm officers from the Sault Ste. Marie Police Service attended on St. Mary’s River Drive for a single motor vehicle collision.

A red mustang was travelling southbound on St. Mary’s River Drive in the 200 block area at a fast rate of speed and lost control on the curve. The vehicle fishtailed, crossed the centre line, drove over the curb, struck a light post and then a brick flower garden before coming to a stop. The driver was not harmed. Damage to the vehicle is described as moderate.

23-year old Adam Clow of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan has been charged with one count of stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act.

As a result of the stunt driving charge the driver’s licence is automatically suspended for 7 days and his vehicle is also impounded for 7 days.
