Painful Journey

For the many that took part in the ALS walk on Saturday, it wasn’t so much from the body pain that hurt, but it was the pain that they felt in their heart from losing a family member or friend from this dreaded disease. There is no cure for ALS and the pain from the first time that the person has symptoms from it to the end, is the painful part, not only for that person but for every one of their loved ones.

The ALS Walk is designed to raise money to find a cure and is done from coast to coast. The walk in the Sault was hoping to raise $17,000 this year.
