Stopped at the Border


On the 14th of June 2015, at 1:00 am City Police were called to Canada Customs regarding a young person from Manitoba who was detained at the port of entry. The male was identified and the investigation revealed that he was bound by the conditions of an undertaking to remain in the province of Manitoba, to abide by a 10pm curfew and to keep the peace and be good. As a result, he was charged with three counts of breach of an undertaking. He will appear in WASH court on the 14th of June 2015.

Domestic Complaint
City Police officers attended to a downtown residence early this morning regarding a domestic complaint. Investigation revealed that a 24 year old male had caused damage to an apartment belonging to a female known to him. The accused was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court. He also breached 3 conditions of a recognizance which had him on a curfew, living at a specific residence and not to consume alcohol. He will be appearing in WASH court later today
