Eva Elsie ThibodeauIt is with sad hearts we say good night with the passing of Eva Elsie Thibodeau.

Loving grandmother of Scott McLurg (Monique), Geoff McLurg (Paula), Sarah Kramer (Johannes Probst), Timothy Kramer and Adrian Kramer (Lucia Cesaroni). Loving Great Grandmother of Kyle, Alicia, Hannah, Shae and Connor. Special Mom to Louise and Jim Harmer, who she loved as her own. Daughter of the late Angelo and Sarah Chicarelli. Sister of Irene Scali (late John), Rita Lauzon (late Bernie), Velma Fregonaize, late Anna Fera (late Tony), late Ronald Chicarelli (late Ingrid), Sandra Cook (late Charlie) and the late Danny Chicarelli. Daughter-in-law of the late Adrien and Bernadette Thibodeau. Sister-in-law of Eleanor Gastagne (late Alf Gastagne and Maurice Durocher), late Aline DiGasparro (late Fred), Helen Thibodeau, Eva’s Great Aunt, whom she cherished very much (late Fern), late Bart Thibodeau (late Irene), Doreena Nanne (late Silvio), Lorainne Weeks (late David) and John Thibodeau (Mariette). Eva was dearly loved by her many cousins, nieces and nephews, who cherished her never ending love. Eva’s heart and home were both always opened to so many who considered her “their” grandma too.

Family and friends may call at O’Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Centre (Corner of Cathcart and St. James) on Friday, June 26, 2015 from 11:30am-1:30pm. Funeral Service to follow in the chapel with Father Paul Conway officiating. Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow. A reception to Celebrate Eva’s life will be held at O’Sullivan Funeral Home following the interment.

Her BIG HEART, wonderful sense of humour and smile will be sadly missed. Among Eva’s many accomplishments she served on the St. Gerard Majella first church senate and was a fifty year member of the Catholic Women’s League.

A special thank you to all the Palliative health care personnel, Dr. Schamp, and the compassionate people at ARCH, for the wonderful care given to Eva during her final journey.

Donations in Eva’s memory to A.R.C.H. would be appreciated by the family.
