Train-the-Trainer Canning Workshop
The City of Sault Ste. Marie, in partnership with Algoma Public Health and the Canadian Red Cross, would like to invite you to a Train-the-Trainer Canning Workshop on Monday, July 27, 2015. There will be two times available for you to choose from either 2:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m. at a Community Kitchen in Sault Ste. Marie. Details to follow.
The cost is $10 per person, which includes a canning kit. Receipts will be issued to paid participants.
The intent would be for the participants to be able to train members of their gardens, clients, staff on the latest canning techniques.
Emerie Brine from Bernardin will be the guest presenter, teaching us the latest procedure for canning fruits and vegetables safely.
Space is limited to 15 participants per session.
