Blind River Female Missing


Update On July 6 the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blind River reported a female missing from the Granary Lake area north of Blind River. At 7:50 p.m. members from the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), with the assistance of a marine unit located the missing female. She was found safe and sound within the area.

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Blind River is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing female.


On July 6, 2015 at 3:25 p.m. the Blind River OPP received a call of a missing female from a camp on Granary Lake north of Blind River. Karie Lynn SERRA , 38 years old was last seen on July 5, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at her camp, on Granary Lake which is approximately 10 km north of Blind River. SERRA left on foot and is described at 5’ 2”, 115 lbs, slim build, straight dirty blonde hair sometimes worn in a ponytail, and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing grey shorts a white t-shirt.
