Saturday at Rotaryfest proved to be not only a hot day but it was hot on and off the stage. A myriad of local bands played for a sparse crowd until about 4:30 and then they started pouring in, and the more that came, the hotter it got.
The feature band, Fleetwood Nicks and Practically Petty took to the stage at 8:30 after local bands such as Domina, The Big Waltz, and Mustang Heart wound the crowd up. It was so hot that even an amplifier blew up when it was the start of the Nicks turn to play. They carried on and wowed Sault’s music lovers. Thin Ice had the pleasure of ending the night and showed everyone that Sault Ste. Marie has the greatest musicians anywhere. Domina, an all female band played at 5pm and that’s when things really got hot.
Watch the video and see and hear at least one number from all the bands that played at Rotaryfest 2015.
