On July 8, 2015 City Police were in the area of the Station Mall and notice a male and female walking on the board walk. The male was known to officers and a check of the male resulted in his arrest. There was an outstanding warrant for breaching a recognizance (curfew). The male age 31 was arrested and will appear in bail court on July 9, 2015 at 10:00 am. The recognizance was in place as a result of domestic matters.
City Police responded to a theft call at the LCBO in the Station Mall. On attending Police met with Mall Security. Security had a female in custody for theft under $5000.00. It is alleged that the accused stole approximately $55.00 of alcohol products and left the store. Police continued the arrest and charged the accused Darlene Alison Southwind age 49 with theft under $5000.00. The accused is scheduled to appear in court on August 10, 2015 at 9:00 am.
