He also had a goal and 6 assists through 6 playoff games and was named to the GNML all star team.
During the 2014-2015 season, Matt was also called up for 6 games with the Soo Thunderbirds Junior A club and notched his first career NOJHL goal on September 30th, 2014 in a 6-1 win over the Blind River Beavers at the Rhodes.
“Matt is very familiar with our coaching staff from last season and is looking to make the jump to junior hockey this season,” said T-Birds general manager Jamie Henderson. “Matt understands how competitive our training camp and exhibition season will be and we look forward to seeing him take a big step this year.”
