Male Charged 7 Times


City Police officers arrested a 39 year old male on seven different breaches of a recognizance he was on pertaining to domestic related incidents. It is alleged that between February and August of 2015, the accused contacted a female person known to him several times when he was on conditions not to. He also was not to possess any device capable of texting and was also to reside at a specific residence at which he was found not to be residing at. As a result he was charged with seven different counts of breaching a recognizance and he will be appearing in Bail Court on August 25th.

City Police officers were called to a disturbance to an east end residence early this morning. During their investigation they arrested 45 year old Donald Turner from London Ontario on an outstanding warrant for unlawfully at large and Breach of Probation. It is alleged the accused failed to attend to the Algoma Remand and Treatment Centre for his weekend sentence back in April 2014. He will be appearing in Bail Court on August 25th.

A resident on Essex Lane reported cash was stolen from her home sometime overnight last night. It appears someone may have entered the home through an unlocked door while the while the owner was not at home.
