A multi-vehicle crash at the Michigan border left one person dead and 6 others injured Friday evening at the International Bridge toll booth area in Sault Michigan .
The collision occurred at the approach to the toll booths at around 4pm Friday when a transport truck failed to stop for traffic, hitting four other vehicles.
A Florida man died as a result. He has been identified as Grant Lewis Childs , 38 of Fort Myers. Some Ontario vehicles were also involved in the crash, a total of 7 vehicles were damaged in the pile up.
The driver of the transport has been charged with reckless driving causing death.His name has not been released.
I-75 was closed for over five hours at Three Mile Road and Easterday Avenue.
