The 3rd Annual Walk for Muscular Dystrophy was held on Saturday in Sault Ste Marie. It started at the Pavilion after registrations and opening ceremonies.
Nathan Catling was the Ambassador this year and was proud to do that in memory of his brother who also had the disease. He stated that the most important things that he wants people to know about the walk is that it raises awareness within our community and really shows how the money raised can help families dealing with muscular dystrophy.
He also wants people to know that all money raised stays locally to help people dealing with MD to curb some of the expenses that come along with it.
