The winning ticket worth $7-million for the LOTTO 6/49 draw on Saturday September 5, 2015 was sold in the Sault Ste. Marie region.
The winning ticket for the LOTTO 6/49 Guaranteed $1-Million Prize was sold in Orangeville.
Plus, a winning ENCORE ticket worth $100,000 was sold in Thunder Bay.
Since LOTTO 6/49 was launched in June 1982, Ontario players have won more than $10.9 billion in prizes, including 1,313 jackpot wins.
There have been 233 Guaranteed $1 Million Prize draws to date. Ninety-eight of the winning tickets have been sold in Ontario. As of September 5, 2015, there have been a total of 3,300 LOTTO 6/49 draws.
