In the Junior game the Superior Heights SteelHawks visited the St. Mary’s Knights. The SteelHawks led at the half by 3 points but the Knights put the pressure on in the second half out shooting Superior Heights 21 to 7 in the half to take the win by a score of 41 to 30.

The Senior game was a very low scoring one as both teams couldn’t connect with passes or getting the ball into the basket as both teams failed to score any points in the 2nd quarter. At half time St. Mary’s led Superior Heights 14 to 5. In the second half the Knights picked up 11 points while holding the SteelHawks to 8 giving the win to St. Mary’s 25 to 13.

In other action, the Korah Colts took a trip to the east side of town to take on the White Pines Wolverines.

The Junior Colts took down the Junior Wolverines by a score of 62 to 10. The Colts held the Wolverines to only 3 points in the first half while scoring 42 points. The Wolverines scored a total of 7 points in the second half to Korah’s 20.

In Senior action the Korah Colts the Seniors matched the Juniors score of 62 while the White Pines Wolverines got a total of 24. Tori Ivey was the top scorer for Korah with 15 while Wolverines Riley Crockford had 9.

Next action is 30 Sep when the Korah Colts will host the St. Mary’s Knights. Junior action starts at 5:15 while the Seniors will hit the court at 7:00
