Former Roller Rink Transforming into Office Space

Many decades ago, it was a very popular spot for roller skating, in fact the building was built for that purpose as “wheelies” in the early 1980’s but as the roller skating fad ended, the building located at 475 Trunk road has been used for a number of uses since including auto showrooms and a discount store.

The last tenant, Liquidation World closed it’s doors last year. The building has since been sold and is now being extensively renovated into office space.

Establishing office space outside of the downtown was a concern for Mayor Christian Provenzano, however the City planning department says re-use of an existing building for office space is allowed and only new office buildings being constructed fall under the City’s master plan.

The space will be transformed into 6 individual offices , no word on the completion date.
