Protesters were out Wednesday throughout 107 ridings across Ontario to protest the implementation of the new sex curriculum to start this new school year, including here in Sault Ste. Marie. Those opposed to new sex education curriculum gathered outside local MPP David Orazietti’s constituency office on Great Northern Road.
Protesters feel that sex education should be done at home and not in the classrooms. In this new curriculum, topics like oral and anal sex would be discussed and they feel that children shouldn’t be subjected to these kinds of adult subjects.
The Ontario Government has put out a new campaign trying to win over the public that this new curriculum is a good thing, what do you think?
