Nora RancourtIt is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Nora June Rancourt.

Taken too soon on Monday, September 21st 2015 at the age of 51. She leaves behind her husband, and best friend of 34 years, Lawrence.  Loving mother of Russell (Joanne Palmer) and Rachel (Kyle MacLean). Proud and devoted grandmother to Brady MacLean.  Cherished daughter of the late Robert & Mary Goudie, daughter in law to the late Arthur & late Dorothy Rancourt. Sister of Jean Williamson (Ed), Anne (Mike Bernardo), and April Legacy (Kevin).  Sister in law of Gerald (Cecilia), late Janet Richtig (Peter), Dennis (Elaine Ruschpler), Dave (Lori), Vernon (Allison), Paul (Jane), Joyce Rickaby (Jim), Arlene Jones (Keith), John ( Rhonda), and Rita Rancourt. Nora was also a special aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a great aunt to Jonathan and Emma.

Nora’s infectious smile and laughter will be remembered by all who loved her. She had a special place in her heart for her Metro (UFCW) family, as well as her bowling girls.

If you wish to make a donation in Nora’s memory, two charities near to her heart were The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, and ARCH (Algoma Residential Community Hospice).
