Superior Heights led after the first half by 4 points but the Colts closed the gap to within 1 by half time.

Korah turned up the heat in the 3rd and 4th quarters to take the win by a score of 45 to 35.

In Senior action Superior Heights jumped out into an early lead in the 1st quarter to lead by 6 poins. The SteelHawks seen their lead get cut down to only 2 by a strong performance by Tori Ivey and Jadyn Pettenuzzo.

In the 3rd quarter the Colts almost kept pace with the SteelHawks with Superior Heights garnering 4 more points in the quarter to keep the lead by a score of 40 to 34.

Korah hit their stride in the 4th quarter outshooting the SteelHawks by 7 points to take the closely fought game by a score of 58 to 57.

In the far east side of town St. Mary’s travelled to White Pines.

In the Junior game the Knights took down the Wolverines by a score of 70 to 5. Mackenzie Chartrand led the way with 14 points and Katie Fillion added 10 for St. Mary’s while Stephanie Deblosco counted 4 points for White Pines.

It was a close game in Senior action where St. Mary’s slipped by White Pines 22 to 16. Top scorers for the Knights were Taryn Lamone with 10 and Hannah Soares had 5.

Jenna Salomon had 6 points for the Wolverines while Darby Sewell and Brittany Cole had 3 points each.
